As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a EMDR Therapist, I have extensive experience in treating trauma caused by all kinds of stressful and/or traumatic events, including grief and loss. I am also well-equipped to address related issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance use that can develop as a result. My passion lies in creating a safe space and a compassionate, nonjudgmental relationship with my clients as I guide them, utilizing their strengths, to accomplish post-traumatic growth and healing. Additionally, I believe in the importance of including family members and significant others, when available, as part of the treatment.

By engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tactile sensations, EMDR helps reprocess memories and emotions, leading to lasting healing and transformation.

Cultivating Self-Compassion with Mindful Self-Compassion Techniques

Additionally, I incorporate Mindful Self-Compassion techniques into our therapy sessions. Together, we will cultivate a kind and supportive relationship with yourself, allowing you to navigate challenges with greater self-acceptance, resilience, and inner strength. Mindful Self-Compassion will empower you to care for yourself during times of transition and create a solid foundation for your personal growth.
